Casper the Friendly Ghost - A Critical Review from the Archives

Casper the friendly Ghost:
This series of books is about a boy named Richie Rich who is killed and then returns as a ghost.
He is not only destined to live eternity of unfulfilled expectations (heart-wrenchingly displayed as pitiful mourning on Caspers part) but also never having even the maturity to deal with this desperation fate.
Adding to the sheer tragic misery, the poor lost soul is then cruelly tormented and stalked by three psychotic adult ghosts. One cannot even begin to accept the pathetic misery and fear this dead child endures. Perhaps saddest yet is that Casper can materialize and communicate with a young girl and yet never feel her arms around him. This will only add to his misery as the unrequited love of this girl plays on his his heart and soul. Imagine what a nut-job that little girl is going to be at forty. Man this is one freaky-ass book. I read it and could only hope his mortal girlfriend doesn't just kill herself to be with Casper.
